Ben Zobrist, a favorite Tampa Bay Rays player and Christian speaker, shared his testimony along with his wife, Julianna, in a special assembly for kindergarten through 12th grade.

Four SCS students were chosen as Athlete of the Week this year!  Congratulations Cheyenne Miller, Blake Morrow, Shane Shifflett and Nicole Wittmer!

Four Odyssey of the Mind teams are advancing to the World Competition May 22-25!  SCS is sending the most teams to Worlds than any other school in the State. Three teams placed first and one team placed second at the State Competition!  The 10th grade team also received the most prestigious award called the Ranatra Fusca Creativity Award. 

Congratulations to senior Henry Ford for being selected as the Florida Athletic Coaches Association's 2A Basketball Player of the Year and the Senior Player of the Year for All Classes!

Senior Jonathon M. Zehr has been named a Commended Student in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program. Jonathon placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2013 competition by taking the 2011 PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Kindergarten students will be performing a play and celebrating the completion of their kindergarten year on Wednesday, May 22 at 8:15 a.m. in the Auditorium.

Exams are held during the normal high school hours (8:00a.m. -2:56p.m). exam schedule

5th grade students and their families will celebrate the completion of elementary school on Thursday, May 23, at 11:30 a.m. at Bahia Vista Mennonite Church.

Thursday, May 23 at Bay Shore Mennonite Church at 7:00 p.m.

Friday, May 24, from 7:45 - 10:45 a.m. in the gym.  All parents and grandparents are invited to attend. Guests may come and go as needed throughout the morning.

Friday, May 24, from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the auditorium.  All parents and grandparents are invited to attend. Guests may come and go as needed throughout the morning. The seniors will receive and place their engraved bricks at approximately 10:30 a.m.

There will be early dismissal on the last day of school, Friday, May 24th, for Kindergarten through 12th grade.  Elementary and middle school students will be dismissed at 10:45 a.m.  High school students will be dismissed following the Awards Assembly and Alumni Brick Ceremony at around 11:00 a.m.
